Family Wellness Fairs

In partnership with WSESU, family wellness fairs are held at schools with the purpose of encouraging self-care, and family wellness, and destigmatizing mental health through activities run by various youth and family service providers.

Nicotine Advocacy

BAPC is fighting the big tobacco industry by working with youth, caregivers, researchers and decision-makers around the health impact of nicotine products and tactics used to get youth and vulnerable populations hooked. BAPC also help promote cessation resources/incentives and smoke-free homes, spaces, and events.

Power of Dignity

Resources and a short film was created by a team of folks in recovery and ally providers to help health and human service providers reduce biases and magnify the good during their interactions with people with substance use disorders. Click here for more.

3-4-50 Workplace Wellness

3-4-50 is a simple but powerful way to understand and communicate the overwhelming impact of chronic disease in Vermont. 3-4-50 represents 3 behaviors – lack of physical activity, poor nutrition and tobacco use – that lead to 4 chronic diseases – cancer, heart disease/stroke, type 2 diabetes and lung disease – resulting in more than 50 percent of all deaths in Vermont. Implementing 3-4-50 recommendations into workplaces can build a foundation for longer and healthier lives for Vermonters and reduce the escalating costs to treat preventable diseases.
